Target audience

The reason why I need to concentrate in detail on my target audience is becaue everything that is planned and created  for my music video is looking into there styles and fashions, the likes and dislikes and there favourite genres and type of music video.

For my music video my main target audience will be 17-22 year olds. There will be no concentration on a specific gender as I think the music video will be understood and accessed by all.

Nationality: British

Ethnicity: white 

personality and life style. 

Someone who looks beyond the official top 40 and other charts, and someone who is fascinated about lyrical attributes as well as the talents of each band member. He feels very passionately about music in general and although he is constantly searching for the new and bright upcoming band he never forgets about those historical bands who arguably if never existed we would never have seen some of the main talents we are experiencing (Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Queen). He subscribes to daily rock and blues magazines and is in a band himself. He plays guitar. He is very  in his views and would stand up against the majority to argue them. 

Media consumption: Subscribes to weekly magazines and although he loves to listen download music from iTunes and Spotify he also loves CDs and records in which he plays on his Hi-fi. He isn't overly into TV, but loves to watch the occasional movie comedy. Because of this he owns and iPod classic with 180 GB as he doesn't need an iPod touch, smartphone or tablet because his main source of entertainment.

Fashion for Jack White

Fashion for Tom

The clothes that I would like Jack to wear are mixture of punk and vintage. The reason I want these two types of clothing is because I want to represent the typical 'young man' who are stereotyped as relaxed and not to bothered about romance. In the video he shrugs off his love for her with humerus cocky gestures.

Henry belcher 
The reason I picked henry to play the role of the guitarist in the bored students is because firstly of his already gained experience in music and shooting videos as he has had to do it many times before. The other reason and possibly the most important is because he plays guitar to a very high level and so matching the rhythm of the song would be a lot easier.


There first album was called "A Tint of Music", but it wasn't until they release of the album "An album with a guitar" which hit top five in the USA and third in the UK. There new album "our perfect disease" is set to be the biggest one yet, with rumours of a song which has been predicted to shoot up the charts as soon as it is for sale to the general public. 

Tom Waddington

The reason I picked Tom as my actor is because he wears punk rock clothing, the same i want in my video. He is also not afraid to be passionate and creative during the videoing, he is very creative which makes it easier for the director and the actors to work efficiently.















Oscar robinson

I picked oscar for similar reasons to henry as he is a natural musician which makes the performance elements of the video a lot easier to organise.
