The clothes that I would like Jack to wear are mixture of punk and vintage. The reason I want these two types of clothing is because I want to represent the typical 'young man' who are stereotyped as relaxed and not to bothered about romance. In the video he shrugs off his love for her with humerus cocky gestures.

Henry belcher 
The reason I picked henry to play the role of the guitarist in the bored students is because firstly of his already gained experience in music and shooting videos as he has had to do it many times before. The other reason and possibly the most important is because he plays guitar to a very high level and so matching the rhythm of the song would be a lot easier.


There first album was called "A Tint of Music", but it wasn't until they release of the album "An album with a guitar" which hit top five in the USA and third in the UK. There new album "our perfect disease" is set to be the biggest one yet, with rumours of a song which has been predicted to shoot up the charts as soon as it is for sale to the general public. 

Tom Waddington

The reason I picked Tom as my actor is because he wears punk rock clothing, the same i want in my video. He is also not afraid to be passionate and creative during the videoing, he is very creative which makes it easier for the director and the actors to work efficiently.















Oscar robinson

I picked oscar for similar reasons to henry as he is a natural musician which makes the performance elements of the video a lot easier to organise.

My music video will be portray the narrative of a couple confessing there love for one another. The video contains three characters. Meg, who is the best friend of Holly and Jack who is the man who is in love with Holly and vice versa. In the lyrics there is slight changes in the mood of the song, one second they are saying how much they love one another and the next they are teasing each other and explaining the reasons they couldn't possibly be together. My video will  show the couple confronting on
another.

Style 

In my music video there is going to be one male and two females. For my male I want his fashion to be vintage/rebellious. This is because my chosen song doesn't fit under one specific genre, and i think that it is important to represent the mixture of acoustic and the rock/classic rock feel to the song. I have created a very simple mood board of the items of clothing that I want the male (Jack) to wear.


On the top left hand of the mood board you will see two models with shirts on. The use of these shirts are that they are full of pattern and will give the character energy. For the music video I intend to rip the jeans and converse, this will represent a slightly rebellious feel to the character, displaying the stereotypical rock star. The denim jacket is an item of clothing that has been around for a long time, especially through the time when the white stripes where around. One of my ideas is to change to color of clothing according to the mood of the song.

Methods and techniques. 

One of the most important attributes that my music video is going to contain is color. Firstly through a projector, and secondly through clothing and face paints. The reason that I want to employ this style is because the music video has different moods throughout the video and i think that it is important to find a way of representing these different moods.



Split screens. 

We often see split screens in movies, they are usually used when people are conversating in different areas, sometimes they do not realize they are talking to one another. My inspiration to place this idea in my music video came from the beginning of the film Grease. At the beginning of the film it shows sandy and dannty singing about one another, it flicks back from Danny to Sandy consistently throughout the song. The audience can see how the couple feel about each other but the actors do not.

In my music video there will be three characters. Holly (played by Sophie Barton), Meg (played by Sarah Oakly) and Jack (played by Tom Waddington). The music video will be a narrative of Holly and Jacks relationship. The versus in the song are Jack and holly teasing each other, but in the way chorus it is them expressing there love for one another. The shots in the video will be fairly simplistic, in the versus it will be all three of them walking down a lit up road. The setting or the shots will not be the part of the video that catches the audiences eye, the aspect of the video that will be most concentrated in is the link between the lyrics and the narrative of the music video. The main focus of the video is over the debate between Jack and Holly and the love affair they have.

• Jay z is a very well known artist and has a large fan base, this is shown in the way that an image of him has not been put on advertisement as people already have a familiar picture of him. Instead they focus more on the artistic side to the album. 
• The colour scheme is red, white and black. All these colours serve different purposes in attracting fans. The black font stands out nicely from the white background catching the viewers eye, but the artist name and album name are not the main focus of this advertisement. The image is more significant then the writing, which suggests that the artist wants the audience to focus on the link between the image and the album rather then the text.
• Both sets of text are positioned in the center, top and bottom of the page which makes the release dates and name of the album more clear to the audience.

• The band name stands out to the audience as it is large, black bold letters on a white background. It is also underlined so this makes it even more eye catching to the audience. The fact that the background is clouds behind the title gives it even more effect.
• They are all sitting at a table having a meal in the middle of the ocean, it is not rare to see strange and unrealistic photos like this when advertising an artist.The image has huge links with the album name 'keep calm and carry on'. In the image we see that they are carrying on in there day to day activities even though they are sitting in the middle of the ocean, this may suggest that even when you are in an unfamiliar situation, just keep calm like they are doing in the picture. Another reason why artists may use strange images to advertise them selves is that unfamiliar pictures are more often to be remembered and recognized then simple and ordinary photos. For example lady gaga always uses weird and wonderful styles of clothing in her music videos and magazines. 
• On the bottom of the page we see the release dates, where to download the album and the the link to the stereo phonics album. The colour of the font is a very light blue against a blackish background which makes it more eye catching to public. 
• 'keep calm and carry on' is a quote that is well known and is also the name of the album, it written in the same font which makes it more memorable to the audience.
